    Thumbs up Vinegar and water!

I use a mixture of vinegar and water, I keep it in a spray bottle for wiping down my boat. About a 1/8" of vinegar in the bottom of a 32oz spray bottle. It works good on taking water spots of the depth finder screens. I use a soft cloth, spray the cloth or depthfinder and wipe away it never leaves streaks. Using the mix on the boat takes off hardwater spots and water scum, plus its real cheap.

On my computer flat screens I just use a damp wash rag.

I use vinegar/water with a soft cloth. Don't do like I did one day and wipe the screen off with your fishing towel. Whatever was on the towel scratched my screen.

I called Lowrance about sending my unit in for repair and the gal told me all they do is use Meguiar's Mirror Glaze 17 Clear Plastic Cleaner. This removes all light scratches and then they use Meguiar's Mirror Glaze 10 Clear Plastic Polish to bring the screen shine back.

I went to the auto parts store and bought some and now my unit is as good as new.
