Default Are you talking about on the "O"?

Knew there was bass in there, but thought it too shallow for crappie. Am I just wrong or what????

HEY Frank, The fishing has not been to good this year. Went out this morning and got 9 nice crappies. But the wind came up and at 9.30 we gave it up. They just stopped biting. Going to try it again in the morning. Will let you know how we do.

    Later Swanie

I'm going down to Okeechobee on Feb. 4, goiing to stay 2 weeks. I hope I will be able to catch a lot of Crappie on the big lake or on the Kissimmiee. If any one know how the fishing there is please post it I am really concerned about fishing there this year. Everyone one I've talked to have not been catching very many. But the ones they have caught were big ones.

    Default Just came back

I was just there last week. Weather ws not real good. Wind and water temps in the mid 60s. Cold for lake O. Most of the fish being caught were in Harney Pond. But you had to move and find them. Indian Prairie turned on one day wile I was there. They just havent moved in yet. It should pick up with the warm weather.12 Feb. is full moon. So should be good around then.BTW most of the fish were caught in the evening after dark. so make you plans and have fun. Good Luck.
