    Default LOZ Osage Area

    Gonna be there this weekend.
Taking a buddy that only likes to Bass fish.
Its kind of our annual trip, but would like to get on some crappie to show him its just not setting watching your bobber and a minnow doing all the work.

We fish the Osage ( We put in at PB #2 )area only because thats where we are familiar with.

Does anyone have a report from this area ?
Colors, Depth, or anything else you might give up ?

    Thanks, Manny

I fished that area Tues and Wed.

We caught a boat load of dink crappie and changed over to crank baiting main lake and secondary points for bass. Not for everyone but the drum bite was unreal. I caught a 25lb flathead, 21 inch walleye, 4 channels....
I boated over 70lbs of fish on a Rapala DT 4 Silver in about 8 hours of fishing.

    The biggest bass was 4.4lbs.

The water was very stained and best bite seemd to be in the afternon / evening.

If you're willing to head back to around the 11MM of the Glaize, near PB1, it sounded like Bugs was having some luck back in that area last weekend. You will have to dodge the Party Cove crowd but that will be something you'll have to deal with regardless heading out of PB2. Good luck.

    Well just got back...

Found a few here and there. Mostly behind the docks in about 25 FOW.

Did get lucky and pulled about 15 blacks out of the shallows under a See Doo
dock. Like candy from a baby:D
Ended up with 25 keepers in about 5 hours. Lot of shorts.

Ill probably give it a shot again in a couple months.

    Sorry no pics.
