Saturday Fish

I posted this on the Texas page, but didn't know how many of you read it so here it is again....

The wind finally gave us a break for a day. I "let" my daughter outfish me today. "We" only caught maybe a dozen fish or so, but we had a good time. The hybrid that she's holding up was only 15.5 inches long but man did she get her line stretched. You would have thought she had a volkswagen on the line. Texfisher gave us three of the whites so we ended with a freezer bag full.

I couldn't really figure out the crappie. It seemed like when we were anchored up over school after school of bait, we caught nothing. As soon as we would start to move, bam she would catch one. This made me think that we should just kind of keep moving slowly. We tried that, very few takers. Me and Texfisher both had bait and fish all over but couldn't get much to bite. The good news is, out of the 5 crappie that we caught, only one dink.
