hey mike, just wondering if you've been to lake of egypt lately. i hit it today for the first time. not a great day, but learned a lot and did manage four nice slabs. the water temp. was 57 where we were fishing. that is amazing to me.

I haven't made it over there yet this year, but was toying with the idea sometime in the near future heading over. I usually make a couple trips over that way during Feb. and then try to hit it once every weekend during March, but it sounds like this year things might heat up a little sooner than normal. I still have to convert my boat from duck hunting to crappie fishing, but will make it over sooner than later for sure.
