Fiishing 5/28-31

Finallly got to put a little time in on the water. Fished Smithville Friday on the camp branch side. Found the fish in 5 to 8 fow. Took the granddaughter with me and about the time I found the fish she was ready to go up to the W bridge and fish. Wound up with two keepers an 11 and a 13.

Saturday fished Belcher, a conservation lake up near Faucett. Wound up with around 25 keepers.

Sunday went to Watkins Mill, caught a lot of fish but only 3 worth keeping.

Monday went back to Smithville. Fished the mouth of the Lynn/Roberts area.
Found the fish in 16 to 20 fow about 10 ft down. Could only get one to two fish a tree then would have to move on. Had 7 keepers with two that were 10 inches and the other five were 12-15 inches. Had a neighbor fish with me the last three days and he had three of the big fish today. Wish I would have taken some pics of todays catch, it's nice when a 10 incher looks small.

Haven't been to belcher in ages,it got fished out pretty quick when it first opened..glad to see it bouncing back!

where the fish up at belcher much size? I've only fished up there twice but never had much luck thinking about putting my two man boat one there today.

Most of the fish from belcher were 8-9 inches but we had one that was 13.
