OK, so what's the next contest going to be - suggestions needed.

We've had Crappie.com picture contests, video contests, poem contests and article contests. What's next?

Be creative, let's hear some suggestions. Think "out of the box", as they say.

I like semi-random contests because if we do a big fish contest, it's kinda impossible to pick a winner over the Internet.

That's a great idea, but what would the contest entail? How would it be judged?

Take a kid fishing contest. To enter, post a picture of a kid fishing with you and hold up a sign with date on it. Must be taken during the contst period. Each different trip with different youth will get you a chance in a drawing for a prize. Let's promote the sport of fishing. Keep our youth hooked on fishing and maybe off drugs.

If we do that count me in for a dozen jigs for the kid that went with the winner.

Those last videos on the previous contest were so good and educational! How about some "Candid Camera" type fun where a c.c member puts a great (but tasteful) gag over on someone. The contest could be called ...c.c members just having fun.

Two Rules...

Rule 1. Send in a short (less than 3 minute) video where you spoof or play a great prank on a c.c member. (This could also be a family member who plays a prank on a c.c member) You have to say somewhere in the video..."Surprise, you have just been caught by crappie.com" or "We are crappie.com members just having fun."

Keep it in good taste because this is a family site. Tasteless videos, as determined by Slab, will be discarded. Deadline will be August 1st, 2010 for submission. Slab and his family will select the winners. They will also select what prizes will be awarded based upon their availablility.
