Default After work trip 5 24

Well after a hard day at work  I hit a little local lake. caught 20 or so small fish. It isn't a big fish lake but a few years ago it was a numbers lake but turned south here recently. Its only 10 miles or less from the house. I figured I could tune up my skills no matter how big they are. it was great to feel that thump

Sometimes it aint about the size nor the quantity. It's just relaxing getting to unwind after a hard day. Congrats.

Nice trip. I have 3 of those lakes within 5-15 minutes of my house. Every so often they'll give up a 1.5-2 lb slab, but I haven't found the right lucky charm to get one every time out.

Fun to be out there, no matter where it is.

Hazel Hill is a better bass lake than crappie lake.

if you haven't tried concordia before it can be a decent one. It has a lot of potential for crappie and a really good cat lake as a back up if the crappie aren't biting. Glad to hear that you got out.

I've yet to catch a crappie out at Hazel Hill but I have caught some nice bass. Were you dipping the tree's?
