    Talking My First Crappie

Yesterday I went fishing to the San Joaquin River at Hwy. 165 near Stevinson and caught my first one, a 7 inch crappie. I wish I could've taken a picture but I don't have a camera. Oh well, into the frying pan it goes!I posted the results of the trip in the California forum.

Congrats on your first crappie but I'm confused as to why you would keep such a small fish.
