Thumbs up I Like Stockton Lake

Vince and I got to Cedar Ridge (I think) and fished coves in some hellish wind, we caught quite a few fish, many very close to keeper size.
It's the first time I fished a 10" limit length lake so I wanted to measure every fish, they were all 9" or so.
I did get to slide 2 beads, we had 7 total.
I learned a few things from Vince today and used some different rods.
And he's got that cool 3d side image thing that Alex and Beagle have posted pictures of. It was something else to see the contour of the bottom of a lake with out scuba gear!!!

Glad you got to fish Stockton Rugs, usually Cedar ridge give up a lot more keepers this time of the year. Maybe you can make it back soon.

I am glad you got to fish Stockton wish it would have been super clear and you would have loaded the boat. Stockton can be really good but this high water and all the fronts last week have it screwed up. Glad you got out and caught some.

    Default 5/23 Stockton report

Thanks again Rugs for the help with the carpet. Awesome job.
Today was the first time I had my new boat on the water with out it raining. Sun shine and Stockton. Well You know what goes with Sun and Stockton. WIND. At the same time All fish were caught in 10 to 20 fow about 3 to 5 ft off bottom. Worked the small coves that the wind was blowing into and there were the crappie. Not enough keepers but all in all they were biting. A pumkin/chrtruse pepper slab slayer was the bait of choice. Most of my markers are under water. Must be 8 ft high right now. Did catch a few on minners when we were out of the wind a little. There were also a few females with bloody eggs so they will be done soon. water temp 65 to 71.
Anytime your going to be in the area rugs shoot me a pm.
