Quantum; a little pricey but have had them for years.
I broke one of my old Shakespeare open face spinning reels. I really like this real because it's small, easy to use, balances the poll just right, and has a trigger line release. I've noticed that the spinning reels keep changing form the trigger to no trigger every couple of years. Well, this year I can't find any. I know it's only one more step in opening the reel, but I will miss my trigger until they come back. And when they do, I'm stocking up!!!
So what kind of reels do you guys like the best?

I really like my Pfleuger's........ that's all I have on my 10', 12', and 14' Wally Marshall's......
Shimano
Shimano definitely.......I have some older models (mod 2000) with the "quickfire" trigger release ($25-30).....when I found out from the factory rep they would discontinue those I bought all I could find at Cabellas....they have one now in the 2500 series with the "quickfire" release (Cabellas has it)....these reels work great with 50# braided line for bass.....or 6# mono for sacs....my Shimano rods are my favorites in my inventory....

Shimano...or ...how ever much $$$ I gots in the pocket
upon further investigation.....Shimano makes 2 with the quick release....the 1000 series and 2500 series.....see link below to see which one suits your purposes......I absolutely love the release and cannot live without it.....some folks do not like it because you cannot have that and the anti-reverse feature together.....but, the reel has a lock (anti-reverse) just behind the spool on the bottom of the reel which serves the same purpose....I keep it on lock when fishing and flip it when I want to crank backwards for whatever......they make a (front) spool drag and a rear drag......I love the front spool drag as it takes up less space in my rod box and I can get to it(drag) quickly when fishing.....
