    Smile Stakebeds

It was such a nice day yesterday i decided to put out a few beds. They should both be in prime spots for Spring! one is along main channel[should be 10-12 ft. deep, normal pool],And the other is close to a flat leading to water willows[should be approx. 5 ft. ,normal]. I was going to put out some more today using old pvc,2x2"s,ect. but its raining-afraid I"d get the 4-wheeler stuck. I hit some soft spots yesterday going down the riverbank. LOL, there callin for snow tonight?? It was in the mid 60"s yesterday!! Oh Well- Build Em an They Will Come!!

Where do you get your stakes? It looks like it would take a bunch of them to make a nice sized bed.
I started out with nothing and I still have most of it left.

They look nice & I know they will work,But 1 question,Do you not have problems with other people seeing them & then fishing them to death?

I just started putting out the PVC beds myself. I have about 24 out now with 11 more waiting for me to get a weekend off in Feb. I sure would like to have access to some of those stakes as I would be glad to put some out. Do most saw mills have them cut like that or do you order some cut? There is a local mill close to our place in Tennessee . They did let me get some side cuts one time but they were really alot wider than what you are showing. They did make a heck of a mess in my boat with all the bark and saw dust in the carpet.
