    Default She Fillet Again

Well, we are just going into spawn here in Northeast Ohio. I will get little sleep, and neither will my wife for the next few weeks.

We rotate shifts; as I catch fish every minute I can while I am not working, and then, I come home with a bag full, and she takes over the clean and pack side.

I am sure many of you do the same. Team effort is needed to fill freezers for the summer fish fries with family and friends.

Today, I found sporadic males and females in 9 feet of water around stumps. I was drift fishing and just got rolling in some hogs and then the wind came again. They all were hogs!

So after catching about 12 pigs, I had to move locations out of the sweet zone (heart breaker :o). After re-pitching my boat 15 miles away, I found the south side of a causeway with 18 feet of water perfect for just that.

The depth of the crappie was 15 feet. Once I stayed on them (the size of a pie plate) it was harvest time. Once I got to around fifty keepers I called it a day.

21 days of poor outcomes came to an end. Man...it was so nice to finally get in the fish.

I will definitely keep her...lol We just had our 18th anniversary, and she tells me she will take care of the fish as long as I keep catching them, even if she is old and in a wheel chair...Ha!

Still can't get her to go fishing with me, but...our roles ain't to bad.:D

You noticed the wine..LOL:D I was wondering if someone would.

She makes her own wine too. She likes to have a glass when filleting the fish.

Nice photo, thanks for sharing! I'm sure most of us wish we had a Wife that would clean our fish! I know I do!

BTW, don't you guys have a possession limit up there?
