    welcome to the crappie forum, i haven't been to twain recently but it is very high and muddy right now and all the reports aren't all that great.

    here's a web site that deals with Mark Twain, if you look at left side of site you will see Blog/Fish report, you can click on that and read comments, usally helpful. Also there are links that you can go to that will help to. Last time I went I didn't do very well, but that was me maybe someone else had a better day. Hope this helps and welcome to CDC

    Normal pool for Twain is 606' and right now it's at 624 and rising.....The bite right now is pretty tough, however, when the lake levels out, there will be PLENTY of places to catch em. I would imagine the spawn is still going as the beds will have to be made again. If I were a betting man, I would run up into the North Fork, things should have calmed down by the weekend assuming no more rain.

    Watch out for the junk in the water!
