Wow , that's a slab on any lake ! We caught allot of short fish last week , all whites , but did catch one about 10 1/2".
We sampled Watkins Mill last Friday and I measured 2, 15+ inch white crappie. I've been sampling Missouri Lakes since 1986 and have never measured 2 that large at any lake on the same day. Watkins still has too many crappie, but maybe things are slowly getting better. You can help. The limit there is 30 crappie per day with no length limit. Go take a couple limits this year and see if we can increase the average size some more!

lots of numbers not many directions?
Is Watkins Mill Lake a restricted lake in terms of motor size? I normally fish Smithville but want to try a few other local lakes this spring and have heard it's good for crappie but also for bass, etc.
According to this (If I've googled the right lake) it's restricted to motors with 10HP or less.
