    Default Crank Pullers

    Guys,
Any of you guys that pull cranks (in the back of the boat) use driftmaster troller 400-h rod holders. I am outfitting new boat to do some trolling, maybe even to pull some planer boards. These rod holders hold the rod at a 45 degree angle, just don't know if they will hold up to use with planer boards? Also do the rods bounce out of these holders in rough waves?

    Thanks,

    Mike

If your'e going to set up for pulling cranks out of the back of a boat as long as you're not looking at a rack system , look at the ram 111 rod holders.I pull cranks for walleyes and for crappies and these rod holders will tackle anything you can throw at them.

I've been looking hard and can't find ram 111 mounts anywhere. All I can find is 117 and 2007 holders. Is it one of these?
