Glad you all had a good outing despite the water conditions.
Fished out of Bucksaw. Caught some white bass in Cedar Creek on minnows right on the bank. A few keeper crappie. Moved to the other side of the lake in the afternoon and evening and got into them good. Almost got our 3 man limit. We worked the back of the coves. Minnow tipped jig, 1' down on a slip bobber right on the bank around or in brush and structure. When they slowed, we switched to casting jigs. Color didn't seem to matter. Curly tails seemed to outfish the tubes. We had lots of throw backs then, but constant action.
The lake is coming up fast. Water is very dirty with some floating debris.
Thanks to Denny at Bucksaw. He was spot on with the intel.
Glad you all had a good outing despite the water conditions.
Nice job! Congrats on the limits.
Sounds like a good day glad you got out
It was pointed out to me that pictures don't lie. I believe this was a direct attack on my character. Leave it to a good buddy to keep you on track!
Glad you had a good weekend of fishing.
