Smithville gives up a few Keepers 5/15

Caught a few Saturday just fish slow. Catching dinks on the banks so moved out to catch keepers. About 7 fow and jig almost on the bottom. Found out by accident but most fish caught tight lining. Took a phone call and caught an 11 incher with jig just hanging there they didn’t seem to want it moving or sitting still pissed them off. Lots of the fish had runny eggs so this week it should be on!

Way to "accidentally" figure them out!!
Sometimes my best days catching go against all "probable" techniques and you get into them where/when you would never expect them to be
I do love a challenge when I'm fishing, it makes me learn more and more!!

isn't it funny how it seems everytime you get a drink out of the cooler or pour a cup of coffee or try to retie a jig on your other rod and not really paying attention that's when you catch one!!!
