any tips for fishing eagle creek

first off thanks for all of the advice on my boat,

i have decided to stick to eagle creek this year its close,

someone was telling me that i should pic a lake and fish it a lot

and i would learn it. so any honey holes someone could tell me about???

last week i fished around 56th st bridge did ok i guess brought 5 home.


my fish finder is mounted on my trolling motor, now its on the back of my boat

so when i see fish on there, does that mean they are behind me????? i dont

understand how to read it i guess.

any advice would be appreciated..... thank u

look how fast your going and how fast your screen moves on the finder. If I am looking hard i will try to match them together. and yes they are behind you. I have markers that I will throw out behind the boat to mark the spot. As far as honey holes- youneed to find them. look for points, weed lines, brush anything that will hold fish. It always feels better to find them yourself. Thing about the holes is if you fish it -WE ARE WATCHING- so they don't always pan out. I bet most my spots will be fish when I get to them saterday on missy. crappie usa

I have never fished it I can't help you on that lake

straight across from the boat ramp right before the cove there is a hump and it holds gills and crappie. It goes form like 15 up to 5 feet. I havent been there in a year but that is all i have got for you. If u like cats try night fishing it rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!
