Redear

Caught my biggest redear to date yesterday it was 12 inches long. I thought i was going to lose it too had me in a tree top.

I'd like to see a picture of it, sounds like a hawg. Once you get hooked on redear, other fish become a distraction quite frankly. Or at least that's been my experience since I was a child. We had a farm pond in New Washington that had HUGE redear and it really made fishing unrealistic to me. We would catch 12 and 13 inch redear by the coolers. My cousin mounted his two pounder out of there. It's a spring fed pond and it just produces, can't get in there now days.

shoot sorry I never have got the hang of posting pics here to tell you the truth I got home measured and weighed it and fileted it. I did think about mounting it but told the wife soon as I do I will catch a bigger one. I am going back to those lakes if I get another which is probably unlikely I will get a pic and try to post it.
