Default Crappie sill in same water here

Been a couple weeks, but seems longer. Well took the wife out yesterday late afternoon for a short fishing trip and found the fish still in the same water they have been in here all Spring, 9'-10' and caught too many under size, but still managed a few keepers with the best one 14 1/2" (have not put him on the scale yet). Oh, but then there is this, way more white crappie than black and that is not usual at all. Also got a few bass, but didn't keep any.

Way to get them, with my Nephew in Afganistan crappie fishing really isn't in this year he didn't want to leave me his boat (don't blame him, it's his toy) but a few of the guys at work are talking going after them, so I'm hoping to go then.

Yeah and man sorry to see you guys have so much trouble now with water. Know what the weather can do and can be a huge pain in the rear, like Rita and that last cane that came through. We have trouble with flooding around where I live, but being on the lake here is a big plus since the water level is pretty far down from the house and if this lake even gets full they open the gates and then a little higher and it's over the spillway, but other around here not as lucky with more than enough rain as we get our share of the over do stuff.

Can't remember anyone ever saying that the Titans stadium having as much water as it did this time up there.

    Good luck,

I like the pics of the other fish holder better!

Nice fish! My Coosa rive 'Bama fish have slipped off deeper in the last week or two.
