Anybody have any good success trolling crankbaits for crappies? I've tried it at Rathbun with limited success. Usually end up with a very mixed bag. Any tricks to the trade anybody would like to offer?

I have had a the experence of trolling cranks for crappie with a friend. To me trolling cranks for crappie was like pass shooting waterfowl not that much fun. I prefer to have the pole in my hand and feel the rap when they hit it.
