Donations are monies sent to help keep the site going, & upgrades.

Paying to not see ads (see the site rules sticky at the top of this page) is a member choice deal, whereby you pay a fee to have the Google ads turned off (on your account). You'll only see the ads if/when you look at a member's profile ... but, knowing that ahead of time, you'll be ready for them

The site rules sticky has the reasoning for the ads, along with the how-to on getting away from them.

What ya'll talking about ??? I don't see these ads. The only ad I ever see is the single one at the top of the page. Right now it's for (Bait Shop Guide).
I want to be a winner too :p:p
But I can do without any popup ads :D
