Bank fishing at wappapello?

Where would b some good places to try from the bank For crappie and bluegill
probly would have my mom with me so cant really walk to far
any advice would help alot.

The break water at Sundowners has some good structure around it. Caught alot of crappie there in the past.

I fished main lake from 4-7 PM today and found nothing but small fish on the bank. I ended up with 7 keepers all over 11" that came form 8-11 fow. When I was at the cleaning station there was a guy from dexter that had 9 crappie
he caught from the spillway with 6 of them of in the 9-10" range. the other 3 were about 7" and he said he was fishing 3 hours with small jigs.
