    Default Building a fisherman

Here's a peek inside the work of building a fisherman.

Sometimes it's a spur of the moment, no time for hooking up the boat and going to the lake.
This day we went to the little pond across the street and just spent a couple hours together dippin our lines in the water and playing with imaginary friends.
Oh.. and dodging the ole crab that lives in the house next door to the pond.

And then this day I took him for a promised trip for just us two. I knew that the crappie had been biting low and slow with a lot of patience needed. So, to prevent boredom we took some livers and went after the catfish. As you can see, he thought he was fisherKING. Even had to call his grandma from the boat to tell her he caught the "grandpa" catfish.
He also got a charge out of "driving" with our new trolling motor from CrappieClaus!

Now, I don't mind building me a fishin' buddy when it makes memories like this.

Looks like we've got a friend or two in N.C. that's certainly figured out what it's all about.
