Fished PB2 tonight. Tough fishing, only had a couple keepers. Did catch a nice catfish and a nice largemouth. Other than that it was pretty slow.

Females still had eggs in them, males were on bank and females out a little ways. Some buddies of mine are going down tonight, down by hwy 5 bridge area. Maybe a little different down there? Probably going to try again tomorrow night.

I had terrible results around Buck Creek last weekend, saw some shallow spawining, but didb't have much luck catching. I think every one is having trouble right now.

    Default update

Got off of work at 4:00 and was on my dock at 4:30 back home with limit by 7:00. Was fishing shallow under bobber with minnow, And throwing black/silver blue/silver slab buster and both did well. All fish were caught in backs of coves. Males up shallow starting to get some colors on and a few females dropping eggs and some still far from it. I think with the water finally coming up it is helping the bite. Overall a real good fun night and glade to see things changing.

My buddies said they had 15 keepers last night and a bunch of shorts. On the banks in behind docks Hwy 5 Bridge area. I am going to head toward our dock tonight with some minnows and see how that works out down in the Little Niangua. Can't be any worse for me than PB2 was...
