cousin and i fished the new lake in nashville. we put in at the natchez trace bridge on 96 and trolled over to mccrory lane where we picked up some nice bass. edged over towards ensworth high school and picked up a few black nosed crappie that had obviously been stocked from other areas. also a pretty deep hole there around highway 70 where we snagged a couple of blues and a 50 gallon drum. wind picked up so we motored over to briley parkway where at one spot we caught eight 4lb crappie, six 2 lb bream, a spoonbill and some huge largemouth bass. unfortunately the sting ray moved in and caused all kinds of havoc to our spider rig so we left. overall a pretty decent day - not a lot of fisherman but did see a few boats.

Did you see Brad Paisley's guitars or Toby Keith's trailers floating by?

I wonder if the stingray petting arena overflowed...??
Can stingrays live in "fresh" water...??

it appears Alice isn't the only one in Wonderland :p
just got word all of the fish from the aquarium restaurant died due to fresh water causes, except for the piranha. they have survived and are now in the cumberland river.
