Do you count out exactly 12 minnows to a dozen?

Hey I won't be up there fishing BUT I want to thank you for coming on to update folks about your store and products. I wish the stores around here had this kind of gumption!!! Keep up the good work!!!

What's the diff between a crappie shiner and a crappie minner...Besides the price that is...

Those are the kind of bait shops that get my money!... the ones that waste mine and their time by counting out exactly 12 to a dozen only see me one time.

I'm pretty sure that a crappie shiner is a shiner between 2-3" long, a crappie minnow is what we call Tuffies down here but are actually Fathead minnows.

Get to learn your customers names, use a digital camera to take and post pics on the wall, etc. Back in the day a bait shop was happy to take a pic of a kid with a big fish or a man with a giant bass, really anything. They all stopped it around here as I guess film costs too much. Do it with a digital camera and a printer and BOOM you can take the kids pic and up on the wall it goes. Folks will drive out of their way to come to your shop to get their pic on the wall or their kids pic, etc. It's cheap with a digital camera and instant. If I owned a bait shop I would have a braggin wall just for this purpose. You might already do this I have no idea.
