Default Watts Bar Trip 4/25/10 Black Nose Crappie

Here is a couple pictures of my wife with a 15 1/2" Arkansas Black Nose Crappie. The one in her right hand is the Black Nose. Caught on Minnows 20' deep in 30' water at Watts Bar.

We caught some in Ky lake 3 weeks ago. We caught around 300 crappie total in 4 days. I think 4 or 5 were black nose. I don't know if we catch them in more waters every year or we just notice them more because we know what they are. I've see a few in sw Ohio also.

Gibson County Lake is full of them. We've caught a few at Big Sandy too.
