I have the this gps and the time and date is wrong on it...Also, sometimes it shuts off on its own..I have fresh batteries in it....Do, I need to reset it or something?...


I haven't used it in a while...When you turn is it supposed to be on auto locate to satellites?...I have it on now and it reads searching the sky...

I am wanting to use this tomorrow to mark some habitat drops..

soft reset........

with clear view of the sky do this:

Power off...


hold the page button down.

keep page button held and press and hold power button.

hold both for ten seconds. This procedure resets the satellite receivers.

May help you out. Can't hurt.

when you lock into the sats it should update that info, shouldn't it? Go outside and try it now and see if it works...

It is working now..It updated the date and time...
