Default Foot control to hand control Modifcation

This is the way we modified my trolling motor to use it as a hand unit. Sure does save on the legs when fishing all day.

It is a extension shifter rod for an atv we found at wal-mart. It was straight but we bent it . Works a lot better with two people fishing up front

    Default Good idea.

That ball is a must. I have an eight ball somewhere. I can't find it..Sure saves on the hands... I like ur switch arrangement. I've done someting similar. Just run the wiring up the pipe. It all works. It is just being creative...ha

The speed is still changed by the roller wheel located at the top of the pedal. You push the stick forward for one direction or pull it back for the opposite direction.

    Default switch

    It's just a single pole on/off.
