    Default This afternoon...

Took my fishing partner out for some afternoon crappie fishing, teaching her the spider rig. She caught on pretty quick (how to flip em back to her old man ) she caught 50+ and daddy got zero, as she kept me busy. She still prefers jigging, but she gets alot less snags. She opted to let them all swim another day, these two were her first double on a sprider rig. As usually all the fish were caught deep (17 fow) with Yum Vibra Kings in glow and white sparkle. We hit one main lake brush pile that held the majority of the keeper fish, the other spots held so many dinks she could only operate one pole. She said it was a good day because she had crappie thumb, and that's always a good sign!

She's a cutie, can't wait to take my little girl out. My little one is only 18 months but she still know the big blue cooler has fish in it when Daddy gets home. Sound like you two had a great day.

Another great pic and story, Enjoy it while it lasts Dad, I have two boys and one girl all who have been fishing since they could walk. Now they are all teenagers and are to busy most of the time to go fishing with Dad.

Way to go Dad. Life is a circle, ... one of these days she will be hauling out an old man and taking off his fish. Make the best of the moment. Life is short.
