3 way swivel question

I have been using this type swivel for my crappie rigs:



and am curious to know if this style works better with less tangles:



Has anyone used both styles? Any other links to the second style of swivel?

I switched over to the crossline swivels years ago. I like them better myself.

me too, like the way the line hangs from them..........

I've been using the old three ways till I use them up. The only thing I will do is use a lighter lb test line on the loop if I'm using a weight so that if it breaks all I lose is the weight and not the whole rig.

I use both, can't really tell much difference in performance.

Not at all. You can easily rig it with two jigs.

I just rig two jigs directly to my line, I never mess with the swivel thing.
