I think I got a bargain

Went to Dicks Sporting Goods today and found a Shimano Symmetre 750 reel on clearance for $29.99. This should be a killer crappie/panfish reel. I wish they had more than one left but I'll take what I can get. Can't wait to break it in.

Excellent reel, you did get a steal, I come across them once in a while, also the best places to find reels is area pawn shops, most of them do not even know what the reels are worth, and you can get a steal sometimes..... All the best with your new reel....

Nice find . I like the 750's ; it's a good size IMO. I found a Sedona 750FB at the local Dick's sporting goods store, about a month ago for $29.99. I scored a slightly used Sedona 1000 at a yardsale today for $10 . I'll buy them all day for $10 . gillchaser
