    Default pomme arm wed. 4-21

fished from 7:30 to 7:00 last nite p22 marker was far. water was 66 degrees. between 3 of us caught right around a 100 or so fish keep our 3 limits. lots of small dinks on the banks. big fish for the day was 15" and 1 fish just shy of 16". we had a a couple 14"s and alot of 12"ers. i dont now what everyone thinks but the eggs were really tight in the females and they were out in deep water. seems like the fish last year were alot thicker slabs must be on a diet down on this part of the lake. here are a couple pics from yesterday buddy of mine with a 14" and the hog for the day. and me with my big 1 for the day.

Good day had by all then! Nice fish too! Looks like a dandy...... did ya weigh her?

Sounds like the girls are still a little ways away from heading to the bank, bigger males should show up once this weather clears out next week I would guess.

Never been on the Pomme Arm of Truman...... but being that I'll be down there in about 2 weeks....... that might be the area of the lake I focus on to get on some spawning action.

i didnt weigh her she was really long but not very thick. if i would guess her weight i would say 1.5lbs. the fish we caught yesterday were scattered we never could find a pattern just males on the bank and females out deep any where from 10ft of water to 24 ft and alot were right on the bottom.

Wonder if they are still knocked down due to the cold front that came through and the impending weather........... good catch either way.
