Wink Thanks you for all your prayers for a fellow fisherman

Just wanted to update everyone on my pops. Dad went through an extensive surgery yesterday, removing his voice box and a large tumor that developed in his throat. The doc says the surgery went well and he believes he got it all this time (cancer). He is in stable condition in the ICU. Would like to take the time to thank each and every one of you for your prayers and well wishes, please keep them coming for him and my mother. Nice to know I belong to such a class bunch of fellas like all of you. I will keep yo posted on his condition and hopefully within the next 3 or 4 months I wll be able to post some pics of us fishing together again. His love for the outdoors goes unmatched and I cant wait to be back in the boat with him and my brother again.

    Thanks again, Mike Fasel

    Mike,
That is great news. I am sure it will take him awhile to get up and about. He can look forward to getting back into the boat with you and your brother. I bet that will make his recovery go much faster.

Glad to hear the good news and I am very happy that you get to look forward to more fishing trips with him. Be sure to take lots of pics and I think we all would love to see one of them posted on here.

Best wishes to both you and your father. Good luck this year and many enjoyable outings!
