    Default Another rod question


    Ok thinking about buying a new rod all I have is ultra lights small rods. Was thinking of a 6 foot rod( my rod holders in tho boat won't fit 7' or larger) not wanting to spend over 50 on it tho. What u all think?

    I prefer about 9', 7 is fine though the rods are 2 piece. Try a bnm sam heaton 7'

    go ahead and try and find a 6' 6" rod, more casting distance. should be able to find one between 20 and 40 bucks. never cared for ugly sticks, just never been a fan of foam handles, cork just feels better to me.
    When in doubt, set the hook.
