I was told the local name for a skipjack was hickory shad - If im wrong let me know. What I caught was a skipjack. I just checked and the world record skipjack comes from Watts Bar. They fight like devils. I'm looking forward to catching more.
1. White Crappie
2. Black Crappie

I caught all these fish in one day on one lure between Meltin Hill Res. and Fort Louden. All in about 3.5 hrs using St. Croix 7ft medium light premier rod with a #2 shimano stradic, 6lb Pline clear, berkley 3 inch power grub, Christmas Tree color. Not more than 2 of each species. I just thought I'd throw that out there and see if any of you have ever beat that or had similar experiences. I had other days when I had as many as 9 species when I was there, but that 11 species day was a banner. None of them were very large. The hickory was over 18 inches. I hear thats not too bad for them, but I don't know how big they get.
Good things come to those who bait.

I'd say that's pretty incredible, Grizz. Saltwater might offer up 11 (or more) in a day but I've been on the salt alot and cannot recall anything I've done that compares to that number
You need to focus more.
