....was hot today. I made it out for a three hour cruise and put som serious smack down on some dandy fish. The sunfish have begun to show up in many of their traditional pre-spawn holding areas. Today handed me a fat sunfish that taped at 10 1/4" and had to have been two and a half inches thru the back. Crappiesran out to 13 inches with the average being around 11 inches....maybe 11 1/2".

Size was a bit off today by an inch or so from yesterday. I think the fish got hammered Tuesday evening and that may have been a factor. Still, the crappies we took home this morning were nothing to scoff at. I only kept 6 fish and we had those for dinner tonight. Actually we had three fillets left over so it'll be a fish sandwich for lunch tomorrow.

Mike, when you and Mark do the water you'll find him pretty easy to get along with. Nice guy....tons of laughs and fun.
