    Default Still catching crappie(pic)

Hi, well my partner and I (partner Pic) caught 65 crappie yesterday. The first place we started we did catch a few but they were down at 40 ft. of water. The wind kept blowing us away from where we were trying two anchor so we decided to move elsewhere. Where we moved to the wind had slowed down a little. Any way we used a slipbobber set up with red/white and black/chartruse crappie tubes. Slip bobbers were set around seven foot depth.

    My good friend Jay.

I live in Idaho. Your right, the Resivour is surrounded bye Desert land. There are a few ranches around but mostly is desert land. They pump water out of River for Irrigation and also the resivour. Also the water is used for reclamation purposes, fishing, boating, picnicing, swimming and ect.

Ken, I still can't believe y'all call crappie "trash fish". All in all I must say that's a nice box of trash. Thanks for the picture and the report.

I use 1/16 and 1/32oz Jigs with a Number4 split shot above my two stacked jigs. If its real windy then I use a 1/2oz. Bell sinker on the bottom and my two jigs stacked above. That gets me down little faster. I hit bottom and reel slowly up. While reeling up I get a bit and miss I let my sinker drop to bottom and start the process again. I hope this information helps others to catch more fish.
