Default Bank fishing at Neely Henry

A cold front hit Alabama this morning. We had already decided to go fishing at Neely Henry Lake which is directly below Weiss lake. We got up at 4:00 this morning and were on the road to the lake by 4:30. It was still dark out and I was pretty much freezing. This day I could have worn my winter coveralls. It did not even begin to warm until about 11:00 and then not by much. We left for home about 12:00 noon but we had some fun watching the fish stretch our lines. Here are a few photos you will enjoy of some Alabama crappies.

Looks like you had a good day, Ship. Glad you got a chance to fish under some cloud cover. Been tough for a while under all the bluebird skies we've had. When do we eat?
