    Thumbs up Cpt .....

I have two flyrods - one w/spinning reel attached, that I use for minnow/float fishing. I have 20lb test Spiderwire on it. I use it for dipping minnow/float around standing timber & shallow wood. The other has a baitcaster on it, w/hi-vis mono 8lb test, which is generally used for drifting minnow/float or tightlining minnows. They're both "hand-me-downs" from my late Grandpa (my Crappie fishing teacher/mentor). They make great Crappie outfits, for the methods I use them for. They just aren't all that great for jig casting ... which is why I have all my "other" rods :D ...... cp
