Bamboo Anyone????????????

This is one of the places Jerry Blake gets the bamboo for his crappie condos. This stuff is huge. Paul is six feet seven, so that gives some idea of the size.

The bamboo I cut out of my friends side yard, was around 17-18' in height. I cut and bundled 50 stalks of it and had in tied down to the top of the boat. I had it overhanging front and back of a 15.5' boat. Looked like I had just harvested a nice crop of hemp. Now, some boo that tall would make some nice condos dropped off in about 35' of water. Talk about a definate year round home. All you would need is to add a gravel bed for them in the penthouse.
