Default Wantincrappie, Hookedonfishin, Polebender, Truman 4-17-2010

Sam and I decided to head to Truman today and had a guest with us today known as the Stockton Nightmare, or Polebreaker, or maybe it's PoleBender.

Bite was a little slower today and we decided the little cold front might have had an affect on the fish. Didn't catch nearly as many fish on the bank today as we did last weekend. Fish were scattered and best bite seemed to be on structure within 10 feet of the shoreline. Not near the size on the fish today with our heaviest going 1.45. We fished a multitude of colors today and non seemed to better than another. Made it home with 25 keepers.

Not that anybody was countin but I was sure I had the most and was keepin the one's I caught in a seperate live well. I thought I had my 15 but when we got to the house and started countin them I only had 8 in my livewell. Well when I went to get the truck at the ramp the Stockton Nightmare moved some fish on me to another livewell. A real joker he is!!!!

Last picture I couldn't do again in a million years. Bender had thrown his coffee cup in the back of my truck this morning. When we headed home and got up to speed I saw it fly up out of the back of the truck and the fin on the bottom of the trolling motor speared it and it rode right there all the way home back to Springfield.

Thanks to my buddy's, had a great day fella's!!!!!

    Default That cup looks empty

Sounds about like all of Truman today, big fish were hard to come by, maybe a couple or so and then much smaller ones to limit out...... glad you got some for your trip......

Nice job guy's, don't know how we didn't run into you all today. Bite was tough, you had to burn some gas today to get your limits. At least the wind was better than yesterday.
