went up to smithville and tried the dam from wallies and didnt get a single hit but did catch 3 12" crappies on a crank bait in 2 hrs so i went down below the dam and had a great time i had over 100 crappies and 2 wallies the both hit
the 8 lbs mark and watch three other guys bring in sum nice wallies also in the 6-7 lbs range i gave my two to the old guy that was next to me that lost 4 nice ones when i was there i fished below the dam from 130 till 330 and caught everything on a red head and white body curly tail ill have the pics up later

thanks for the info champ.went wading yesterday morning nothing ,come home see your post back i went .caught my first eater crappie in 2 weeks. went this morning caught a bunch of eaters 3 eyes [14 inches] lost 2 big ones.again i thank you and my wife will be thanking you when we go tonight.

went up there last nite (friday) about 530 nothing but dink crappie caught behind the dam. went to the face of the dam and caught some whites
