I've used several. For my application, they are only good for having something to spool line on. And only having short lengths of line out. They don't reel line in very fast or easily.
Havent seen anybody talking about these. Just wondered if anyone's using 'em and if they'd work pretty good on trolling poles. Any input?

Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.

i have some . haven seen them in a while . never put them on a pole . just havent tried . when i find them i don`t have time and when i have time i can`t find them :D..had a couple of poles that had eyelet`s that would set at different spots when you pulled it out . i had some 33 reels on them and they went a miss one night . along with my other spinners and tackle box . had a cover over it strapped down . now i have a lock box and a cover . haven found a pole like that . i made some with 2 12 ft poles . put eyelets at the top of each section they work pretty good .
retired and now i will always fish
I Dont See How They Would Work On Trolling Poles.
They Use Them At Reelfoot On Long Poles When The
Crappie And Bluegill Are In Close To The Bank. You
Don't Reel. You Just Heave The Fish In The Boat. I Looked
At Some But I Decided To Use Cheap Spinning Reels Instead
