Crappie Condos

Way to go cool crappie and I commend all of you guys who build and place structures for fish.
Now I have a few questions and would appreciate any replies as I'm thinking of doing some habitat building also.
1. How long will the structure pictured above last?
2. Will the cement eventually disintegrate, and what will happen with the bucket?
3. Do you try to place the above structure so it is standing upright, and if so, how is this accomplished?
4. And if it happens to fall over and lie on it's side, does that affect the fish holding ability?
A bit more info to help you in your replies to these questions. I plan to put these in a river system, just outside of the normal current flow, but this river as any, will have times of floods and higher current.

sweeeeet,,,, im new to ky lake,, next to hesters resort,,,im putting in some of the no hang ums this weekend next to our dock,,your condos look great,, I might try to make a few of those to fill in,,,,when do the crappie start biting at barlkey? are you on the north end?

They look really good Cool. Judging from the height of them, looks like if you drop them in about 8-10' of water, they would stand up in half the water column and give you plenty of room to fish over them.
