    Default Raccoon yesterday 1/2 day

Fished first part of morning, until wife called someone took out mail box so that had to be fixed. Slow morning no more than one fish at a spot still managed 9 keepers and four or five dinks. Lake still very low I think main ramp only one open. Water temp was 59.5 when I left at 12:30 . Pic was first batch out of fryer last night after mail box was fixed. Life is Good..........

I was there yesterday also from about 11:30 - 3:30 with about the same luck. Managed 15 in the 10 1/2 - 12 in size with 10 or so smaller ones. Could only catch 2 or 3 at any one spot. All fish were caught on 1/16 oz jigs in 5-12 feet of water. Water was clear and about 64 degrees when I left. I will say that a 10 or 11 inch fish from Racoon has a lot more meat on it than one of the same size from Cataract.

I've never caught any of those round crappie, pictured on the left. I bet they're really hard to clean.

Nice Catch Sportsman, I think the lake level being so low has something to do with the crappie. Last year I had caught several about this time but the lake was alot higher.
I still use one rod at a time!!
