Looking for what are some of the best hooks for crappie jigs. Pros and Cons.

Sickle hook jigs are pretty sweet. I like the 1/16 oz with #2 hooks.

Based on what others said, I bought some red chrome Matzuo Sickles. I got the style 149.

I also bought some 1/8 oz minnow with/collar #2 red chrome sickle HK. If he doesn't list what you want, ask him.

I've never used these hooks, but I'm impressed in how they look and what others have said. good luck.

I had several sickle hooks break on me at some very bad times. I know a lot of people swear by them but I just won't use them anymore. I prefer the thin wire hooks. I can bend them to a wide gap if I need to and I have yet to have one break on me.

I use the sickle hooks made by buzzmanmo, never had one break, ever, but I dont catch big truman fish either, it would make me mad if I caught a big fish and the hook broke.

I Have Used No 6 Aberdeen Wire Hooks For Years With Minnows And They Always Work..just Make Sure They Are Sharp And You Will Not Have Any Problems.
