Default Broke in the new 4WT

Slipped out this morning to give the new 4wt rig it's initiation. The bite was fairly slow but I did catch several decent 'gills and a couple of bass. The first official fish on the new rig was the bass in the pic. I felt like a "newbie" learning to cast all over again with the 4wt. Once I got settled in it was great. The key word for the day is "FINESSE" .
The two highlights of the day were the two monster bass I almost landed. The 1st one was every bit of 9 lbs. I had him right up to the boat when he broke my tiny tippet. The second was on my ultralight spinning rig. The wind had gotten too bad for the flyrod. This hawg was at least 10lbs and he came off right at the boat as well. Fun stuff on ultra-lite tackle.
